I purchased a new 2024 Sport S in May of last year. Other than adding a bed cover and side steps, it is bone stock. I use it for traveling and enjoy getting 24-25 MPG on average. Once you modify the suspension and slap on the big tires, the mileage will be the first thing to go. The other thing...
When I purchased my 2024 Gladiator Sport new last year, my daily driver had just turned 400,000 miles. It is a 2001 Ford Ranger with the 4.0L, which I meticulously maintained, especially with oil changes every 5K. I still use that truck to do the things I'm still not ready for my Gladiator to...
I think we both enjoyed the golden years of the Ford Ranger. I test drove a 2024 Ranger prior to purchasing my Gladiator and the ride was terrible. My 2001 Ranger with 405,000 miles actually rides better than the new ones..
Well, funny you should ask. My transfer case gave out at 325,000 miles, so I had my shop do the transmission at the same time since they were partially there already. Nothing was slipping at that time though, so it may have gone just as long. But I'll never know for sure.
When I purchased my 2001 Ford Ranger new, I got a $1500 discount for taking the 4 litre engine instead of the 3. The 4.0 was not Ford's finest V6, but 25 years and 405,000 miles later I'm still on the original engine. So if I can get 400,000 plus from a Ford V6, I'm feeling pretty good about my...
I purchased my 2024 Gladiator Sport S in May of 2025. The Sticker was $52K and I paid $37K. If you look hard enough, you can find good deals on a new one. I had to drive 3 1/2 hours to go pick it up, but it was well worth it.
My 2024 Gladiator Sport S consistently gets 22-25 MPG. I live rural, so my driving is almost 100% highway and I'm completely stock, which I don't plan to change anytime soon.
I use my 2024 Gladiator Sport S for long distance travel, and I wouldn't trade the stock suspension on mine for anything else. I've never driven such a smooth riding midsize truck.
I purchased my first Jeep Gladiator ( 2024 Sport S), new in May of this year. I came over from a 2001 Ford Ranger that I also purchased new. When my Ranger turned 400,000 miles, I finally decided to purchase its replacement.
Looking at the milage and reliability I experienced for 24 years, I...
