I'm not sure if anyone mentioned. But by removing the propane tanks from the tongue you destabilize the trailer. You want the weight to be on the tongue for trailer stability. WDH is a good idea and a little bumper sag isn't a bad thing, you're better planted when the cross wind comes.
Nice...
I found this from their website. it just says stop when hot or 1 minute of continued use. Not in the same sentence. That sounds like common sense, but not sure what the standard duty cycle is for one of these. The rest of the data I was curious about is that it only spools at 8' per minute...
I don't have serious off-road ambitions. I do mostly trail and overloading trips. As long as I don't rub or break my teeth I'm in a good spot.
Thanks for the feedback and your rig looks great!
For sure- The price point is stupid low. When I saw them during the black-friday sales they weren't selling them this low. They were at $599, which was somewhat competitive to the badlands and others. There isn't a lot about them other than a few unboxing reviews, nothing that's really going...
I'm new to Jeep suspension modifications. I want to move up to 37" wheels and still on a stock suspension after spending a year or so on 35's.. I'm lost in the interwebs information about the stock suspension. Does the Rubicon come with a taller suspension than a sport or Willys? It looks...
Does anyone have experience with the Born-Offroad winches? I get the feeling that it's a new branding- but I'm optimistic that they are hand checked before shipping to make sure that they meet the QA standards. The price point seems too good to be true but has a pretty stout warranty.
I'm in the process of putting in an overhead molle kit have my to Midlands mountable and adjustable. I am entertaining an idea of putting them on ball mounts to swing them out to then dock them back on the overhead. It is probably easier to use an integrated mic and ditch the classic cb radio.
I was wondering if anyone had seal issues after eye-balling the non-panel side of the retainers? I kept all my trim loose and took test drives until I didn't have wind noise. Just curious if I missed anything in the install process because it seems nobody makes comments about adjustments needed.
I used the flatter unistrut thinking it would be more stealthy. Only to realize that anything that is meant to mount to the bedrail won't work because it's tucked under the bed contours.
This is really cool, I would like to see installed pictures. I love the use of extruded aluminum. I had an idea of something similar using a 1x4x? piece, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. I haven't used any of the fiber filament but planned on using ABS. Is the fiber filament just as...
