RIGHT?!?! and because of it the mirror post is rigid, cant flip mirror or move it to make it better.
I started removing some stuff to try and relocate it but it felt like i was gonna break something. Once it cools down again in 6mo i'll pull the top and dig further with a better top view.
my 2025 mojive only had 1 clip per side as well and i swapped it. that was prob the hardest part.
Your mirror pics are legit. Definite improvement.
Now id just like to remove that FCW sensor that blocks tall people mirror views.
Delivered today. Packaging is great, truly.
Install was pretty easy, hardest part was pulling that weird metal clip off the back, just being careful so i keep the OE mirror in good shape.
I'll see if I can do pictures later.
I had the little sticky mirrors to view wide. These new blue...
maybe its the angle... but what's your toe? looks like the wheels have a lot of toe out, but could just be the picture.
2nd on the trackbar to drag link, as parallel as you can.
That's why. I don't wear glasses. So you have correction applied.
Use your phone to take a picture of your dot and you can see what it should look like.
OK. Derail over 😂
The blue tint one is advertised as reducing headlight glare etc, astigmatism you usually have kinda starbursting of light so any reduction of that would be nice.
i'm definitely interested in seeing some before/after mirror views.
withing a week of getting my 2025 i was buying sticky mirror things. And this blue tint mirror... really interested how that is, especially for us with astigmatisms.
maybe i should just buy them *cry*
I did the LOD but it doesnt have a fairlead built in. If i wanted to spend a hair more, Grimm is the way i would have went. Grimm IIRC is all one piece bent, no welds.
If you dont have a sub, the kicker 51hs10 under seat sub is probably the best bang for the buck upgrade.
Dont get a cheap amazon one, unless it has the same class amp inside it. The cheap ones get real hot and sound isnt as good.
I'm still curious what a rubicon and sport distance between the perch and bump stop is.
My mojave appears to be about 2.25", maybe a little more, I know the hydraulic has some travel but not sure how much.
What's the measurement or difference between them?
Mojave's have about a 1" lift in front stock, and have hydraulic bump stops... which i assume hang lower than a std rubber bumpy. Wondering how much sooner/distance wise it engages vs a trad rubber.
Rubi's have different springs but i dont...
Bought two cans from Wally over the weekend.
TLDR - krylon gloss popsicle orange is pretty bang on
See picture... darker on the top is Rustoleum Gloss Orange, Bottom is the krylon,
Would I paint a body panel with it? I dunno, but extra parts, 100% will.
They make those portable jumper packs that have an air pump built in. prob air it up in 2 passes though cause that's a lotta tire.
Looks fantastic and might make me wanna go 38's instead of 37s.
anyone have experience with what color looks close?
Rustoleum has a Kubota orange, Husqvarna Orange etc... nice to have something that kinda matches if you make stuff and want something other than black.
I did the Warn Evo 12S inside the stock plastic bumper on my mojave. Didnt notice any difference and its a 3rd vehicle so i dont baby it. I tried measuring, it was 0.0-0.25".
the 12s weighs 53.5lbs, i weighed it myself. thats without the hook or the LOD plate i used (+15lbs?)
The plastic...
remove the shock entirely then drive. see if it still clunks. then remove and replace the other side.
if its the shock... it cant clunk if it aint there.
What speed to you have be going when you brake to get it to clunk? if its low, it opens up a few precarious options LOL.
got a go pro...
