  1. Water intrusion Freedom panel question

I’ve posted in my thread about this. And while I appreciate the offer, the dealer I’m working with now has a pretty good idea of what’s going on. By all means though, make your suggestion.
  2. Buying in Florida? I'm so Sorry...

Dude, get a sense of humor. And tbh stop bothering me. All you’ve done is start drama on any reply to my posts. Do you even own a gladiator or are you just here trolling because you got kicked off the Wrangler forums with your JLUR? - tbh I don’t care. Just stop being a nudge before I report...
  3. Water intrusion Freedom panel question

My seals leaked again today in the rain. "Jeep life" "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand" Okay okay, I know it's not fun. But there are solutions, albeit not always an OEM solution, or at least not cheap. That being said I'm hopefully getting mine resolved at the dealer next week.
  4. What is this, and why does it have a rocker switch running to it?

Is this using the SGW connectors? If so, I'd be more worried about getting my vehicle hacked over the cellular/XM connection than what the switch is for. I'd then unplug it as most thieves know what the SGW is for and where it's located.
  5. Found this on amazon for protecting recalled jeeps

Not any settings the Tazer doesn't glitch out on already 😂 Every so often I notice my audio sounds different, so I check the EQ settings and what do I find...they're reset to 0. If that's my only bug...I'll take it, not like the 7" radio is SOOOO fancy or sounds great...it gets me by.
  6. Buying in Florida? I'm so Sorry...

People who bought the GR Corolla during The Vid are laughing at the OP. a $60k car they paid $80k for is a bigger ripoff than the OP is making this out to be. As another member commented: it's a FULLY LOADED RUBICON, and has the OEM winch. So they're asking BELOW MSRP for everything, and this...
  7. Is a tazer a good replacement for an autostop start eliminator?

The most common cause for Tazer related issues is: not following the marrying process to the T. Sometimes it just doesn't like to pair the first time either. I had issues with mine for a while, but after the last tedious process it took fully and has yet to give me issues unrelated to my older...
  8. NEW Angled Flush Mount Bezels for Vega 2 & Vega 4 Pod Lights

Bro so offended because he's also a ford owner. Maybe you enjoy scummy companies, maybe educate yourself regarding all their recent patents which violate your rights to privacy, ownership, and ability to repair. And yes, I'm aware Stellantis is shady af, but they still allow me to work on my...
  9. Recall: 1M+ Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Fire Risk (June 9, 2026)

2017, they were all pre-owned, and as long as we had them sign the waiver we didn't need to until they were sold and "delivered". New cars were a different story. Basically "it's up to the customer to request the recall to be fixed as there aren't enough parts and we cannot stock EVERY airbag...
  10. For RC crawler peeps

Finally got an update after 2+ weeks of nothing, it's going through customs in CA. Should be here by next Monday, or the 4th at the latest. Keep your eyes peeled :jk:
  11. Found this on amazon for protecting recalled jeeps

I'd measure the current draw with a meter when it's "locked out" as the RF system draws power. If you let your battery sit for days at a time, I could see this being an issue for some people. I have a FOB system on my dual sport motorcycle, you walk up and it enables the electrical, walk away...
  12. Proof that 87 Octane fuel is limiting your 3.6

That's why if it's a short trip, you need to romp on it a bit. Get those temps up and flow moving! Can't baby them.
  13. Recall: 1M+ Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator Fire Risk (June 9, 2026)

Lucky, dealers near me won't even make a list...
  14. The Future for 2027 Models and Beyond 1984 Big Brother Controlling

That's a common thing on most new vehicles. It's every so many hours to tell you to take a break from the hyper focus of driving. Most people can't remember their high beams are on, and they think a coffee icon will get noticed.
  15. What are these dimples for?

Manufacturing from the molding process. Don't overthink it. Source: I worked in injection molding MANY years ago.
  16. The Future for 2027 Models and Beyond 1984 Big Brother Controlling

Wait till people learn Ford patented a "feature" that calls the police when you speed. Yup, those remote kill switches are HERE and people will just complain rather than actually do something about it. Watch there be another "cash for clunkers buyback" to remove those vehicles that still give...
  17. Proof that 87 Octane fuel is limiting your 3.6

I'm referring to the OEMs not wanting to spend more to have different tuning strategies between countries. That and if you travel and don't have access to "better" fuels they want it to run without too many issues. Euro/CAFE standards killed off the 600cc class motorcycle in the EU, banned...
  18. For RC crawler peeps

Good ol' 27MHz and 49MHz bands for toys, when you could piss off your friends by having the same RC as them. Heck my Terrain Twister used the 49MHz band. You should keep an eye open, I'm getting impatient waiting for the boat to arrive in CA, will only take a week at that point. It got...
  19. Proof that 87 Octane fuel is limiting your 3.6

Don't forget the emissions side of things, making power GENERALLY creates more emissions. Also regarding the throttle hang when lifting off after an aggressive acceleration situation, they claim it "reduces NoX output" by not allowing the throttle to snap closed". Even if this was true...
