  1. AEV Mojave is it worth the price

Whew! The temptation is gone, thank goodness. My bank account can sigh a sigh of relief! šŸ˜… Having a unicorn build up like that would have been cool though, no matter what you use it for. I went through a similar situation when I sprung for my 392 but regretted the purchase six months later and...
  2. AEV Mojave is it worth the price

All true but a premium AEV package with a 65% bump up in power (470 HP for the 392 vs 707 HP) is where the cost comes in. For just about any location this rig would be a unicorn and in my opinion is worth the cost. But, everyone has their own wants and needs.
  3. AEV Mojave is it worth the price

Yes, AEV components are expensive but in this package the price is higher because of the performance. If 707HP is important to you then it’s worth the money. Compare that to a $90k 392 stock and this is a bargain in my opinion.
  4. In my defense I was left unsupervised.

Good one. I’ve seen/met a spooled up wench from time to time in my life!ā˜ŗļø
  5. In my defense I was left unsupervised.

Yes, the Good Lord does protect us from ourselves and thanks to Him for that! This wasn’t one of those ā€œhold my beer and watch thisā€ moments was it?šŸ˜
  6. 4 Gladiators taking on a new trail in the rain in Montana

Rain, Jeep, Montana. 3 of my favorite things. Thanks for sharing.
  7. Getting ready for our Gladiator

Now, THAT would be an interesting question ā€œwho started that trendā€? 😊
  8. Getting ready for our Gladiator

Jesus loves Jeep owners! How do I know? Because I am a believer and if any Jeep owner has gotten themselves into a pickle off road and gotten home safely, we know Divine Guidance was/is at work! Glorious Jeeping!
  9. Buying a 2026 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon

You might want to checkout the TrailRecon YouTube channel. The guy on there just bought a gladiator like this one; his adventures off-road and pulling his trailer are interesting.
  10. Getting ready for our Gladiator

    Duck! Incoming!
  11. Buying a 2026 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon

Yes. Along those lines, I remember when I had my Gladiator I pulled it into the same spot vacated by my JLU and I had to make different accommodations.
  12. Why i got the gladiator and not wrangler

Sweet setup labby. I had a 2023 Gladiator Rubi for a short time but couldn’t justify keeping two pickups, so it was back to the JLU and keep my Ram 2500. However, if (when) the Gladiator comes out with the 5.7 I will have to seriously consider getting onboard again; I think the 5.7 in the...
  13. Why i got the gladiator and not wrangler

Oops! On the farm I used to load/unload/stack alfalfa bales which were held together with baling wire, but there was some ā€œtwiningā€ going on too. Ah yes, that brings back memories…I can almost smell the ā€œdairy airā€!šŸ˜
  14. Why i got the gladiator and not wrangler

    Held together with bailing wire?🫢
  15. Why i got the gladiator and not wrangler

If you ā€œaxeā€ me, I prefer my 8’ bed Ram 2500, but that’s only because I can also haul pieces of 8’ plywood with no overhang and at least a cord of Woody Woodpecker’s rejects all at once with no chiseling required. But, I’m sure your MPG is better than mine as mine pushes the load with a 488 ci...
  16. Why not Jeep???

  17. Why not Jeep???

You nailed it with the modern day thinking direction that is being taken. Being raised on a farm, then plucked out of that environment to be trained by Uncle Sam in the AF I felt it was a seamless transition until I got out and worked the rest of my career for an aerospace company. Although most...
  18. Why not Jeep???

Good question; lots of greased palms would be my guess. I saw a short vid on YouTube where a gal was touting the off-road prowness of her new Bronco while climbing over a low profile rock with the rear wheel high in the air. Sheesh!šŸ™„
  19. Another One Bites The Dust - Tick Of Death

That really sux! Hope you can get ā€˜er fixed. My one rig with the 3.6 pentastar only has 13k miles so no problems yet (using exclusively Amsoil); I drive my 2.0 turbo most of the time. This is one reason I probably won’t buy another gladiator unless (until?) they put in a 5.7.
  20. The 10 harsh truths Jeep didn't come out with a V8 Jeep gladiator.

I like the hurricane engine platform; I’ve had two 2.0 turbos and still have one. Both have been reliable, the first I had for 7 years with zero problems. Today, it all comes down to MPG and government standards for the manufacturers, not necessarily the owners. I still have a 1996 V10 that...
