- My first experience taking the camper with the Gladiator. My camper is about 6500-7000 lbs weighted with all my "stuff". The Gladiator had no problem towing this camper. It was very windy, but I did not feel the camper "leading" the Gladiator at all. I did purchase a break-controller from e-Trailer (https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Brake-Controller/Curt/C51180.html) that worked flawlessly with the Gladiator. I also do have sway bars while trailering. Keep in mind, I do have the Max Tow package.
