overheating?

I don’t know if I’m being paranoid but when I’m in town, or at idle in drive, my coolant temp goes from 195 to as high as 222. Usually when that happens, I’m at a railroad crossing or somewhere where I can’t get out and see if the fan is running. I had a jk before and it went up to 214 at first...
