tazer lite

What are most people doing when they size up in tires. Was most likely going to 295/70 18" on stock wheels. Should I go with a 315/70 17" on Spare to be close, or just deal with spare being smaller in case i need to use it? What did you do with your spare? Already ordered the Tazer Lite...
