2020-23 Wheel Swap. TPMS Sync?

I have a 2020 Gladiator Sport and might be able to get some wheels off a Mojave to upgrade.
I’ve read some things that the TPMS might not sync because they are different years and there was a TPMS frequency change. Is this true?

So what’s my best way to make sure I get wheels that will sync with my car? Would it be best to just stick with something from 2020?

You want a set of wheels with TPMS sensors from a vehicle built June 6th 2021 and prior or you need to buy TPMS sensors for your configuration if buying a wheel/tire set from a Gladiator made June 7th 2021 and later with factory installed sensors.

Just move your old ones to the new wheels.

Thanks for the help. Speaking with my mechanic about moving the old sensors to the new wheels or just get some new Shrader 29093 TPMS sensors.

I would say it is more prudent to just put new sensors in it rather than transfer the old ones who are probably getting in that 5-7 year range that batteries start to fail.

Just buy new ones from Rock Auto, mine were very reasonable.
