2020 Bright White Max Tow

I have had my JT just over two years, and I just go through random spurts of adding to my build, usually when tax returns and bonuses come rolling in. I have owned a few wranglers over the years, including my previous two vehicles, but never really did too much to them other than a few accessories here and there. Didn’t have a specific plan for my JT, but thanks to this forum, I have had tons of inspiration.

I picked up my JT Max Tow in early 2020. My first addition was my 17 inch American Outlaw Lonestar wheels and BFG KO2 33s. I had just put them on my previous JKU and had the dealer put them on the JT as I was not a fan of the factory setup and didn’t have immediate plans for an upgrade.

I also added N-Fab side steps and Rough Country tri-fold bed cover.

I then went with the 3.5 RC lift and threw on Nitto RG 37s. And a 13 inch black antenna. Btw, most pics are current, so you may see stuff that I’ll get to, but weren’t actually there at the time of my build(if that makes sense).

Next, I took the cheap way of going LED, with adding LED bulbs in headlights, fogs, and DRL/turns in the fenders.

Then, upgraded the front end. Got a black grill from one of the online discounted mopar parts stores. Also, won one the those free parts contests from Rugged Ridge (who knew they really do have legit winners). I went with the Arcus front bumper and 10,000 pound synthetic rope winch with remote. I also had white d rings, but eventually went to orange for the color scheme I went with.

Added some LED KC cowl lights.

My next upgrades led me to the interior and the vinyl stickers on the outside from PixelDecals. Lots of orange accessories, including painting the slush mats. Also, went with the bulletpoint phone mount.

As of now, I wrapped up my build with replacing the tail lights with oracles and added the oracle reverse lights. I installed the mopar Sunrider for hardtop. Also, added LED headlights with DRLs.

I put in new LED drl/turn fender lights today. I did have to use the flashcal to get them to work properly. I also had to use it for the tails and reverse lights to work correctly. When just switching bulbs and the new headlights, the flashcal wasn’t needed.

What fender lights did you use? I to have a max tow and looking to replace them.

I got these off of Amazon. Tons of the same ones, different brand name. Quake makes the exact same ones. The install was plug and play. Like I mentioned above, had to use my flashcal to work properly.

With tax and bonus time coming up, I couldn’t wait, so I have a set of Katzkin replacements on the way (not sure if I have enough orange on the interior, so decided to add some orange and black leather). Shockingly, for me at least, the dealer offered the best price on the leather and the install! Also got the teraflex 3.5 coil lift and falcon 3.1 piggyback shocks (bought the 1.5 Tera level pucks just in case, no one could give me a definitive answer on the kit I ordered leveling or not)Can’t wait to get everything installed. Will obviously have pics and will rate the new suspension when it’s good to go.

I have the same steps. I'm concerned (although so far so good as mine is a 2021), of the open ended tubes and the possibility of rusting from the inside out. How have yours held up so far?
