Well, late availability is certainly better than “Not available”. Now if we could just get an idea what “late” means.

I’m wanting to order but reluctant to sell my currently controller equipped vehicle and I’m not buying another P3 (and cutting up a new vehicle) if the Mopar unit is right around the corner.

During my struggle to get info on adding a trailer brake controller (as in does the usual grey dongle exist under the dash to add an aftermarket controller) I got in touch with FCA Corporate (real North American English customer support!!!) and finally got a response a couple of days ago. They confirmed the presence of the dongle, and also threw in that the factory controller will be available 4th quarter this year.

Good to hear. At that point I’m thinking I might as well wait for the diesel.

Anyone else think that the Gator looks a little bit more tan than green?

The pictures in the brochure are usually photoshopped.

The color seems to very greatly based on real pictures I have seen. I have a feeling that it will be similar to commando green.

A member on the Wrangler Forum had his JL painted Commando Green. Seeing his picture, and random Gladiator Gator pictures, I'm fairly certain they are the same color.

Does anybody else find the Gladiator advertising misleading? It frequently shows a Gladiator Rubicon when it talks about the 7650 lb towing capacity and the 1600 lbs payload capacity. The Rubicon only has a 7000 lbs. towing capacity and about a 1100 lbs payload.
