Hey guys, I REALLY want a gladiator, preferably a rubicon if possible. Is it possible to get one for around 35k OTD? I'm in the California area. I won money on the online casino, and want to spend it to a new car. I read a Canplay casino review on this page https://bestcasinos-ca.com/reviews/canplay-casino.php and then won jackpot.

Rubicon? 35K out the door. You have your numbers transposed. Minimum 53K out the door. That’s why I went with the Sport.

Whew....no way you're getting a NEW Rubi OTD for 35k, I don't care how stripped. Maybe with 50k miles and a ton of scratches.

I wouldn't even think a used one could be picked up at that price for another year or so. You could negotiate a new Sport S in that ballpark though. Pay down on it while you enjoy it, and trade for a Rubicon in a few years. Frankly, there's nothing extra a Rubicon would give me that I need, or I would consider doing that myself.

Looks like they start at $44K so you may be able to order a bear bones Rubicon and talk them down to around $38-$39K. Befor you go talk to a dealer get informed. Know what invoice pricing is. Know what employee pricing is. Know what hold back is. Be willing to travel for the best price. Send out lots of emails to different dealers.

If that doesn't work take a ball bat to some of the windshields on the lot. Bring a big crew of guys preferably very drunk guys. Harass the other customers until they leave. Do this a few times a week until they sell you a rubicon at 1/2 off.;)

Even at $38K he is still looking at $4k in fees on top of that in CA. There's $42K OTD

Your about $8K off MSRP. Why would you expect the OP to pay $8K over MSRP? Is the market that F'ed up in California?

So far the best I have done is 500 under invoice on a very well optioned Rubi. I expect it will get better, but dealers I've talked to don't seem to be motivated right now. We were at the local dealer Saturday for 2 hours and didn't see anyone else in the whole place.

Maybe they are like me....Had an insane year working 8 days a week and are going to coast for a while?

Ohio has its flaws but its a utopia compared to CA in my book.
Yes, it's where I was born and have lived since. Other than it's geographic location, its not a great place to be anymore. I'm going to make my money and leave for retirement.......

I was looking at used Gladiators (under $15K Miles) and was able to get an Overland for a cheaper price NEW (with all the discounts). Our OTD price in Sept was $48K
