I don't think it is that dire. There will be a glut of new vehicles on lots all around the country and this will cause dealers to move the product. 2024 will probably be a buyers market. Patience!

They are probably attempting to give the dealers some time to move the new ‘23s. I know in SLC they are offering really big discounts and the lots are full of them. Nothing is moving right now.

If they release pricing and the new 24s roll onto the lot that will just make it that much worse for trying to sell these new ‘23s. Based on how slow things are they probably want to price the ‘24s the same as the ‘23s.

I would say you’re correct. Frankly, I just bought a 23 Willys in SoCal For $11k off of MSRP. Dealer still has several Gladiators in stock. That being said, SD; IA; MN does not. I have to imagine 24’s should be announced sooner than later

Hope your off a little on that pricing
The 2024 Glad X models will be very well equipped but not necessarily loaded. According to my sales rep (and good friend) base X pricing will be in the low to mid 60k range. Adding additional luxury options quickly push it to 70k plus if you check all the boxes.

Tri City Jeep has a 1 new 2022 Mojave (49K) and 13 2023's on the lot . I drive by there frequently. I have not seen much movement on the Gladiators there.

Either way you slice it, if you want a 2024 Rubicon X or Mojave X with a few nice options, you will be in the $70K neighborhood before offers or discounts. :(
My '23 Mojave listed at 67300, that was with Leather, LEDS, towing package, color hard top and fenders(so not fully loaded), the X version will be pushing 80K easy. With current discounts I got it for 53K, so now is the time if someone wants one at a somewhat reasonable price, minus the X.

Interesting thought process. If MSRP for the new Mojave is roughly 53,000 and you look at the wrangler X package adds 10k one could assume mid 65,000 to just under 70 for a X package.
Just a thought of course it’s all speculation and looking at what’s out there.

I was just thinking of the MSRP with what I got, 67 plus 10, but true if you went with the base(assuming you can).

There has to be another backstory on that 2022 Mojave. They have had it heavily discounted for a few months now and it has not moved.

I see what your saying. So all
Those extras you got (Led,tow

.) are standard on the X. Give or take a thing or two.

Could be.

It's an 8 speed so it wasn't held due to the recall and it's optioned pretty well. I'm kind of surprised it hasn't gone, but then again, It's a Mojave in North Carolina. Not much desert to run here.

That makes sense. I was thinking of ordering the 2024 not knowing the pricing because in my view it is what it is. But I’m concerned that when pricing comes out some of the available options might change. Right now you can order a 2024 with a trailer receiver. At my dealership, several people have ordered 2024’s and one of them already has a VIN.
An encouraging sign in regards to pricing for Jeep is that they have dropped the price of 2024 Jeeo Compass SUVs by $2500. That is a sign that they are realistic about pricing moving forward.

I meant to say you can’t order a gladiator with a hitch receiver

I know I will be in the minority on this but in my opinion I think prices for the 24s will be less then 23s. That’s the only reason to hold giving out the 24 prices till the 23s are gone Or inventory is way down. Hopefully for their sake they have learned a lesson on over manufacturing vs actually selling.

Very good point. Do you see any downside to ordering one before pricing is out (assume money isn’t an issue)? The only downside I see is that if your dealer is willing to sell below MSRP they probably won’t be able to give you a discount because they won’t know their invoice price
