I placed my order for 2024 White Rubicon X 6MT on 9-22-23. It shows scheduled on 10-9-23, but then no more movement on the Jeep track your order site. My dealership was able to see a ship date of 1-24-24, but then said it was pushed to 2-13-24. Now I’m waiting to hear if it was pushed again.

Hopefully you are the first special order pickup of a 2024 and it comes in sooner.

I think we only have 2-3 people on the forum that are in scheduled status as of now. Will be interesting to see how fast these move. My gut tells me they are filling dealer inventory first.

It'll be interesting to see when all of these hit D1 versus the automatics; hopefully no difference in scheduling now that the clutch issues are supposed to be sorted.

How have they "sorted" the clutch issues? I have a 2020 manual JTR on its second clutch. I have the recall but no solution attached to it.
I gave tried to convince Jeep to go halves on a Centreforce aftermarket with no joy.
Can't go wheeling as this clutch overheats in no time.

I got the sense that the October through December-produced MY23 and ongoing MY24 vehicles had an entirely different clutch assembly, something more than just a temperature sensor and rerouting of hoses above the transmission.

Can't find the MY24 Gladiator on the Mopar parts sites for a comparison, though.

That's great if they have fixed the problem with current production. Still doesn't help us with the earlier garbage.

Might see if @Birds83 's JT has the latest fix; it's a MY23 produced before the latest fix was available (and that dealer, Ourisman, said they were going to address the recall before sale).

@Vestigo

So according to my vehicle history.
Clutch recall 19A has been repaired but this was the case when I looked to purchase the vehicle back in October it had shown repaired. My assumption is this was a reprogram only even though that’s not how the recall reads to me.

My Jeep was on stop sale for recall 92a which was the sensor for the back up camera and lights. This was completed about Jan 10 2024 just prior to me picking it up.

I’ve not went under and looked to see if there are any signs of the transmission being removed for a updated clutch and I highly doubt it was done due to the recall time frame. That said I’m not stressed about it. I don’t tow or slip the clutch much so if another recall is sent to me for a clutch I may do it or I may upgrade and put aftermarket in and be done with mopar clutch assemblies.

The problem for overheating is when you're wheeling. Watch for that.
The software flash did nothing but lose torque. It's a slug when accelerating after the flash.

Yeah I figured that’s when they were over heating appreciate the info.
as far as sluggish on take off I’ve not driven another 6speed so I don’t know to be honest but mine feels like it has plenty of power for what it is ??‍♂

I see roughly 1600ish 24 Gladiators out there right now and zero manuals. Should we be worried?

Finding, getting and quitting jobs. Because they all suck.
I hope not. MT is what i'm looking for! This would be my first manual truck in 15 years, and I want my last gear grinder in a new truck before they go the way of the dinosaur... or at least overseas anyway.
