All I have to say is “wow” and I don’t mean that in a good way.

Prior versions have a nice rugged look to them. This one looks like a grocery-getter. But I guess that’s all it can really do, since it probably can’t tow anything for any considerable amount of range.

To each their own, but this doesn’t get me excited about the RAM REV at all. I understand the joke/undertone of it, but meh.

My takeaway is that it’s essentially saying this: “hey, government is mandating EVs, so we’re building them. They kind of suck now. But we have one that looks like a soccer mom grocery-getter if you want it, so go check out our website.”

Commercial is spot on for so many folks on this forum alone. Interested to really see the REV in practice since it offers solutions to the usual gripes if it really does offer a range extender.

Same old Jeep gripes. I think back to 2007 when we, I included, laughed at the grocery getting 4 door Jeep. I was driving a CJ7 and said I’d never be caught dead in a vehicle that “wasn’t a real Jeep”. Now we’re all driving 4 doors, and crew cab pickup Jeeps. I can’t wait to see most of you in PHEV and BEV Jeeps in 10-15 years. It’s only a matter of time. It was a 14 years after I belly laughed at the JK, that I found myself in a JT, and I was absolutely wrong in 2007. These things are great, and are real Jeeps. Times change. We’ll change with them. But we’ll whine like little kids along the way.
