Only 750 miles and its back in at the dealership.
For the same issue
P0300 and P0171

First time they replace O2 Sensor 1 Bank 1
Symptoms included
Auto start stop disabled
Check engine light
Fuel Milage goes to crap
Idles rough
Shifts wrong (sticks in gear)

Service advisor says they might need to call up the line to get it investigated.

@JeepCares has this come up yet?

PO300 is random misfire.

Sounds like might be a coil or plug.

0171 is too lean.. maybe intake leak.

It is .... but a coil or plug would give a specific cylinder code. He is running lean for some reason which is causing the random misfire code. Those are bitch to track down..... Could be IAT, CPS, bad intake gasket (s), etc

Also to add on prior to the check engine light the a with a circle around it and the ā€œ!ā€ Comes on the day prior. I believe itā€™s the light that indicates something wrong with the auto start stop feature. Could that possible be connected to the cylinder misfire code that keeps coming up

Related - a misfire on restart could cause it to kick into disable ESS.... but I'm not sure how they have it programmed exactly

New Update

Wire harness checks out fine, new PCM installed and theres still a fault somewhere as the check engine light came on during the test drive.

At this point the Jeep has been at the dealership longer than it has been at home. To say I am upset and disappointed is an understatement.

2k miles and zero, zero problems on our JTLE. 10k miles on our JLR, same two issues. Nothing, not a damn thing.

Next time you get gas make sure the cap is tight.

P2096 P0300 P0171

No lemon law in Canada, I am stuck with them trying to fix it.

I have the same issue! Dealer keeps resetting the computer, but it comes back within a day. Unfortunately the Jeep dealership here is HORRIBLE, so I feel like I'm on my own. They act like I'm an idiot, but 3 times same issue and they don't even try to fix it, just clear the code. Love the Jeep, hate the service! I'm up to 900 miles on my Gladiator Rubicon, and already I don't trust it will be reliable.

My dealer thinks they narrowed my ESS Warning Light down to a faulty door switch. Pic below for reference of warning light on my dash...
