Will BFG 315 70 17 fit on a stock gladiator. Just bought them and trying to decide on 2.5 or 3.5 inch lift. Tires going on tomorrow. What do I need to do tonight for fitment

Can't wait to see your finished installation with the BFG tires. Good link sent by Digger70 showing what's needed.

In the video, I didn't want to remove the factory closure panels because they protect the fog light wiring/housings/bulbs from road grime/salt/mud/rocks. I have since been running an aftermarket winch bumper that has no protection for the fog lights, and both of my LED lights are starting to flicker on and off and have issues, no doubt from water blasting them constantly on rainy days and/or gravel. I'm considering putting the stock bumper back on WITH the closure panels. It's easy enough to just trim the area where the tires do rub.

I trim the air dam section last night on the bottom didn't really care what it look like when I got done. I'm planning on removing that bumper anyway. 35's going on today and 2.5 inch ReadyLift SST going on tomorrow, didn't need the 2.5" but just in case the 37 bug hits me.

Can not wait either. The money I ended up getting for the Jku I sold to the dealership allowed me to get a jump on the build on the JT. I'm pretty excited about it, been wanting one for a while. Now just trying to figure out what programmer to get to reconfigure for the tires. Thinking about the Rough Country one but don't know much about that brand. I used the superchips Flashpaqs for the JKU.

Also appreciate that like Digger70

My bumper also leaves the fogs exposed but I didn't really have any concern over it until I saw this post. I'm not going back to stock so I guess I'm going to need to get creative....

Tires being installed as I type. Before and after coming. I'm excited to get these stock tires off the JT. Glad my wife is on board. After having the JKU lifted and big tires, first thing she said the next day was, you gotta get bigger tires and lift it. Lift going on in the AM

Looks fantastic as-is! Are those the 285/75-17s? I think I'd leave it just like that!

Thanks! I got the lift going on today, 2.5" ReadyLift SST. I'll probably bump up to 37's after these wear out but who knows. These are 315/70-17 BFG K02 All terrains. They Are pretty much the same as a 35 12.5-17 BFG K02 all terrain, just slightly lighter. Basically considered a 35. I'm super pleased with how it turned out. Only some minor trimming on bottom of the front air dam to get them to fit stock on my sport s with Max tow.

They look really really good. I think I may go this route with mine but probably will never lift it

Yeah I'm digging the look as well. You will not be disappointed with the K02's, the ride quality was not compromised at all.
