35" spare tire issue

Just picked up a new 2020 Gladiator....I was under the impression a 35" spare would fit underneath. My dealer is telling me they were unable to get it to fit underneath. Does anyone have a 35" spare underneath????

people have fit deflated 37's under. they just arent trying to or have it overinflated maybe?

Yes, my 315 70R 17 BFG K02 fits with plenty of room to spare. It might be slightly less than true 35, about 34.6" but I assure you a true 35" tire will certainly fit.

Fits like a glove with a little to spare. 35x12.50x17 on 9” rim

Fits fine- They have to push forward as it is cranked up - it does catch if you have a hitch. Gave mine a swift kick in the tire and popped right into place - 17x9 wheel They may not want to do it. but it can be done

35” Nitto Trail Grappler under mine without an issue and room to spare.

35x12.5 Nitto on OEM wheel under mine, no issues at all. I watched the guys who did my tires lift it up, went right in.

Not sure I'd take my vehicle back to that dealer for anything.
