Please sticky.
I’ve found various postings but nothing that has a list. A lot of people have gotten 37” tires in the spare area under the bed. Let’s list what we’ve gotten to fit.

Only for 37’s
Post the tire manufacturer, model and wheel manufacturer and model that you got to work in the factory spare location. Post a pic too if you want.

I’ve seen postings that the following 37’s fit.
BFG KM3
BFG KO2
Nitto Trail Grappler

I’ve been running 37x12.5 R18 Kanati Trail Hog A/T’s on my Gladiator for last few months. Have them mounted on some 18” wheels from a 2016 Wrangler Sahara. After reading a few treads on here I ordered a 5th tire for a spare. It was a tight squeeze but fit.

I was able to snag an BFG KM2 that was used as a spare but “never” seen pavement. I threw it on the spare rim and it fits without airing it down.

So far I have NOT been able to get my General Grabber X3 37x12.5R17 to fit (stock spare wheel.) There is not enough room between the trackbar and the receiver. I even aired down to 15psi and it wouldn't fit.

When I measure between the trackbar and receiver, there is about 37.25", which should be enough to fit my tire since they are actually 36.8". I'm going to try again, but I'm afraid it will hit the trackbar when off-road (which this is being built for) even if I get it up there.

Get the Rock Krawler 4-link rear control system and you won't need a track bar! ;)

Except I'm going metalcloak. But i do like the idea of no rear trackbar
I've been bouncing between both websites (RK & MC). Not exactly ready to pull the trigger yet, but the track bar delete has me leaning toward RK, but probably with the 6-pak MC shocks.

I put a Kenda 35x10.50r17 up there for my spare today. The tread width is about an inch more narrow than the 285/70r17 tire it replaced. It is still 2” smaller in diameter than the other 4, but it’s closer...

I can’t find the thread but can someone post the 37s that fit in the spare. Mostly interested if a 37x12.50 bfg Ko2 will fit. thanks!

Suprised that no tire company wants to capitalize and make a 37" donut. While you dont need a full size spare on a gladiator (just mount a whatever sized spare on the front, put it in 2wd, and limp off the trail (or disconnect the FAD plug before putting it into 4WD to have 3WD, it would be nice if there was a 37" donut we could buy.

Not sure how a donut would be better than the factory spare that came with the Gladiator. If you're imagining a 37" diameter donut (that would, I assume be narrower), the width is not the issue - it's the diameter. There's a heat shield under the Gladiator surrounding the spare tire and that would either have to be bent out of the way and/or removed and even then I'm not sure a 37" tire would fit under there. I think I saw one post where someone was talking about maybe it fitting but only when aired down. If that's true - IF - it's likely tire dependent as not all 37" tires are 37" in diameter and it would likely take a "small 37" to fit if it will.

I've got my factory spare under there until/if I find another, better option. I sure as heck don't want to carry a 37" spare in the bed of my truck

I’m sure that a KO2 will fit as I have my KM3 mounted there now, the spare is at full air pressure and fits tight. I did not need to modify anything for this to fit, no bending of the heat shield.
