Thanks guys (re: wheel width). It'd be good if folks posting here would mention what wheel they're running with their spare that does/doesn't fit.

I am very interested to learn who is using the Gladiator spare wheel with their 37" tire as that's what I'd like to do as I don't have a need to buy a new wheel (but I would if I knew it would fit as then I could rotate 5 tires).

I'll have to do the "tire dance" and see if (1) my wheel and tire will somehow fit (i don't think it will) and (2) if my spare wheel will work with the Metalcloak Game Changer suspension on my Gladiator.

On my Sport S, the spare 37x12.5R17 Maxxis Razr MT fit on a 17x9.5" Black Rhino Arsenal. (No lift or any mods under the bed for that matter... yet)

Just to clarify, I'm running 37 x 12.5 x 17 Milestar Patagonia M/T's on my Rubicon, 1 1/2" leveling kit only, bone stock in the rear, no rubbing and still getting 17.5 MPG's @ 75 MPH on the highway!!! And yes the Milestar fits in stock spare location!

I can confirm that the Toyo R/T 37” x 12.5" does not fit in the spare location. I tried it today :(

Anyone tried to fit a Kumho RV MT KL71 37x13.50 under there? I will be running those on 20’s, but probably just a 37x13.50r17 for a spare. Something cheap and used Just to get me to a tire shop or back home.

Well used 37x13.50r17 Gladiator Xcomp M/T on a 8.5" wide KMC wheel.

On a side note: I removed the resonator and the heat shield and she fit without any effort.

How does it sound without the resonator? Been thinking about doing that as well, then just putting a piece of pipe and the same turn-down in the same spot.

I almost bought those SAME tires! The Gladiator X Comp MT 37x13.50r20 (78 lbs)... How do you like them? I read mostly good reviews, but about 25% of the reviews said they had balancing and separation issues... So I was kind of leary... I was about to pull the trigger on them, but I contacted Don @ Discount Tire (here on the forum) and ended up going with a set of Kumho Road Venture MT KL71's in 37x13.50r20, because 1,) I got a hell of a deal on the,. 2.) I have prior experience with these tires, and 3.) They were only $80 more for the whole set shipped to my door, than my local shop wanted for a set of the Gladiators. They're about 5 lbs. heavier per tire at 83 lbs. each, but that's not too bad...The Nitto Trail Grapplers in 37x13.50r20 were 92 lbs each, and the Mud Grapplers in the same size were 100!!! :surprised:

With my 20's and 37x13.50's I should end up only being about 30 lbs. per corner heavier than my stock Rubicon wheels (23 lbs each) and stock W/P MT 285/70r17's (63.3 lbs. each). :like:

I loved the look of them but I didn't get very many miles out if them. I had a set of 5 on my JK and at about 35k 1 of them went out of round. I only got about 40k out of them. I went with a bigger wheel on the next set and got the RBP Repulsors which got moved over to my JT. I've got about 20k on these so far and they are barely wearing.
Resonator: I can barely tell the difference outside of the truck - on the inside there is no difference. I like the way it looks without it and once it was gone the heat shield looked like crap so I took it off too.

I thought about cutting out that middle resonator (the one that goes up at and angle about where the cab meets the bed), and leaving the one on the back, or removing it, too, and just putting the turn-down back on there to give it some growl...Hopefully not sound like a V6 ricer... Curious to know how it would sound... These things are so new, can't find anything like it on the internet yet.
