Hello , I recently got into a car accident, and the A/C stopped working on the driver side where the jeep got hit. I found out that the door blend actuator on the driver side was broken and replaced it with a new one. Now the A/C is blasting ice cold but the heater is not working , it blows cold air all the time. What could be the cause since I just installed a new door blend actuator ?
thank you in advance

My first guess would be the blenddoor actuator. Installing an actuator on some Fords and Chevrolets calls for a calibration to be performed. No idea on the Jeep but I can look.

The service manual makes you believe you can replace the actuator without calibration. However there is a calibration procedure. It is done with a scan tool. If you can read nbr 6, clear codes turn off ign, remove scan tool, open and close the door, wait 30 seconds, turn ign on and reconnect the scan tool. Nbr 7 is the calibration test.

Reading the notes....

There will be a loss of cooling performance with an active dtc.

Check for bent pins on the connectors that you had off.
