My bet is time consuming as it involves more than just the door frame area - more than opening a door and applying a part.
If they charge $175/hour and it takes 2 hours, plus parts...........
Yea, guess i could have elaborated.

to start my dealerships shop is amazing, theyve done a phenomenal job over the many years ive brought my jeeps to them. So I absolutely trust them when we talk about work to be done.

i talked to my service rep and they said the tsb was 2-4hrs ( they said an exact time, i just can’t remember ) and said they’d be happy to do it, but its going to be a costly service. In the range of $500. And unless the water dripping realllllly bothers me, or im having the water come in from the roof seal, it’s probably better to hold off.

so we both laughed on the phone and i said “yeaaaa, thats probably something ill just do on my own”.

Hello,

Just a reminder that if you have a 2020 model and experience water dripping from the top gutter when opening your front door after heavy rain and/or a car wash, there is a Technical Service Bulletin remedy available through your dealership! Reference TSB 23-041-21 Rev A. Please note, this repair is covered under the provisions of your 3 Year/36,000 mile new vehicle basic warranty.

Feel free to reach out to our team if you have any questions.

What about those of use who are out of warranty and are just finding out about this. Doesn't seem right, that no notice was sent out and only people who have come across this bulletin and are lucky enough to be within warranty get the fix. I ask this a 2 Jeep owner. My gladiator was within warranty and I got the fix done and am happy with it. My other Jeep is a 2019 Wrangler and we are just out of luck. Come on Jeep, do the right thing and let everyone get this fix.

I’m sure it’s gonna be something like this !! Double stick tape , it will probably fly off on a road trip

I recently had this done and was looking at it today and thought it didn't look quite right. My initial thought was that it's not compatable with the Sunrider, but after some additional investigation I realized it was just a sloppy install.

It still seems a little off, but I got it adjusted enough the that seems seal correctly when the door is closed.

Hello everyone.

With springtime rain coming soon, we wanted to post a reminder regarding this fix for anyone that hasn't had it taken care of yet. If you have a 2018-2020 JL/JT and experience water dripping from the top gutter when opening your front door after heavy rain and/or a car wash, TSB 23-041-21 Rev A is available. Please note, this repair is covered under the provisions of your 3 Year/36,000-mile new vehicle basic warranty. Thanks!

Our team recommends that repairs take place at a certified Jeep dealership. If you need support while there, let us know.

Plenty of detail at the link that follows. However, I don't understand why the last model year listed is 2020, while the issue (leak) continues beyond that year. MOPAR/Jeep should issue a recall to address this issue? https://www.tsbsearch.com/Jeep/23-041-21-REV-A

Recalls are only used when there is an issue that causes an unreasonable level of risk to safety, or when something is not compliant with federal standards.

Yup, My 2021 does not have this latest seal at the windshield header (or its installed wrong) and the water pours in vs being channeled into the Diverters by the seal flap..
I have been to my dealer a few times trying to get it replaced/fixed and they keep telling me mine is fine and the TSB does not apply to my year..

I have sent them photos of ones with the TSB done and told them to look at the ones on the lot and compare to mine and they still wont touch it.
Perhaps @JeepCares can provide some assistance on this.
