I’ve had stock, Magnaflow crawler and now the ACE Performance Exhaust.
So why the change?
The reason I got the magnaflow was I wanted the crawler exit (since I go off road) and more sound. Since I’ve had this truck when it was released last year, this was my only option at that time. I thought I was happy and admitted it was a bit tame. But then again, the best option for what I was looking for at that time.
Fast forward and ACE Engineering released their performance exhaust. First off, compared to the magnaflow crawler that was supposed to have the most aggressive sound from their line (according to their website), the ACE exhaust was a world of difference. Out of the box you see the difference in materials used and how thin the magnagflow was vs the ACE exhaust. Very good sound cruising around, and if you step on it, huge difference. Second, performance gain which is always a plus and it terminates as a dual exhaust. But the third item put this over the top. The reason we have our vehicles is the utility and options available. The ACE exhaust has two different tips that come in the kit. The first is a crawler exit that gives me the clearance I wanted especially with how long our vehicles are on the trail, but, they also have street tips. So now I don’t’ have to settle. I can have the street look as my daily runner, and when I am hitting the trial, quickly swap out for my crawler exhaust so I don’t damage the street tips on high drop offs. You can also adjust them to be wider or closer to the center of the truck in addition to sticking out beyond the bumper, even with, or tucked under. So many configurations to make your truck unique.
I'm extremely happy with the results and options with this kit. Thanks for reading and hope to see you on the trails…
