I picked up the new Gladiator today.
A thread seems like an ok place to keep track of what happens to it as time progresses.
Gas station photos when you really care about the best representation of your new vehicle!

New midland “hidden” GMRS on way
my old ARB fridge will go on 40% back seat
Rock hard slider/steps already ordered…..it is a big step up into this thing compared to my old JKU on 35”

trying to sort out bed storage/sleeping arrangements , etc.

In the crazy new vehicle market…the new AEV at sticker wasn‘t much more money than a similar stock Rubicon with the ubiquitous ADM or “market adjustments” that all the Southern California dealers are getting.

I really liked my 2014 AEV JKU and I expect that I will really like this one.

I was looking at AEV, but fortunately I was able to find a Mojave I wanted that didn't have a $5k price gouge, I mean "market adjustment"...

I'm probably going to eventually get the Aev bumpers at least, although the price is a bit painful, I really like the style.

Out of curiosity, how was it buying a vehicle from AEV compared to a typical dealer? Do they take trades?

Congrats on the Mojave purchase.

I bought this from Cole Jeep in San Louis Obispo, CA.
AEV sells through a limited number of Jeep dealers that they have in their authorized dealer network.
These Jeep dealers would take trades and finance just like on pretty much anything they sell.

I like the way AEV bumpers look and function, but yeah they are on the higher end of the Jeep bumper pricing spectrum.

My old Jeep was used relatively hard offroad, and the AEV stuff held up well.

Nice truck - congrats! I have the same color Rubicon JT (diesel) and wanting to do the AEV JT370 conversion as well. How do you like the 37" KM3s (vs the KOs which are also an option)? Keep the pics coming!

Man, AEV does such clean work. Do you have the Dual suspension 2.5” lift or the spacer lift?

See you around town soon hopefully. I drive a white one with an ARE topper (not an AEV)

The 370s get the suspension, 350s get spacers.

Nice looking truck! I just put those wheels with 35" KM3s on mine and I love them.

Following thread with drool. AEV has good stuff. Funny, I parked my JLU next to a guy at the local market a few months ago. Had a JT less than a week later!

Thanks!

I assume the KM3 will suck in snow and ice just like the KM2s on my JKU did.

They drive reasonably well on the freeway, they seem to have sorted out some of the negative road driving characteristics that the KM2 had.

The Km3 looks pretty cool, if that matters to you.

I'll run these until they wear (because "free") and then I'll get Yokohama G003, Nitto or Toyos.

I'll keep an eye out, I'm up in Carlsbad.

I'm 90% committed to getting the RLD stainless Steel shell from South Africa.
I prefer the look without a wheel, but the security and storage of a shell always seems to win for me.

JTR178 is correct, the JT370 has the 2.5 Suspension.
This one was also re-geared to 4.56 for the 37".
Drives really nice with the 8sp auto.
I don't think I'll go bigger than a 37" so I'm pleased enough as is.

You’ll have to update us on your MPG with the regear and 37’s.
