I bought the below to upgrade my speakers in my gladiator. I wasn’t really happy with the sound and a professional told me I needed to run a separate amp for the speakers I chose. My alpine factory system was not good enough. I uninstalled them and went back to stock. These are good speakers if you want to run a dedicated amp. I bought everything from crutchfield.
metra Jp-1014 speaker pods($60 pair) with Polk audio db652 6.5” speakers($80 pair). These were installed in the kick panels.
select instruments roll bar pods ($140 pair). Polk audio db652 ($80 pair) withjl audio c1-100ct ($90 pair) tweeters. Everything was installed and ready to install.
One of the speaker rings did break. The speaker works fine it’s just a plastic ring of some sorts that wasn’t glued on very well.
In total it’s about $450 worth of equipment. I’d like to get $375 but willing to entertain best offers. Please don’t low ball. I won’t respond. DM me if interested.
