Alpine Audio Question

why is it on the JL Sport S, you can get the alpine audio with the standard 5.0 Uconnect, but on the Gladiator you have to upgrade to the 7.0”? Will this change in the future?

You probably won't be able to because you can't on the sport S either. When you select the Alpine System on the sport S it auto selects the 7" stereo. The 7" screen is the minimum for the upgraded Alpine speakers.
