Coming from metal work back ground I'll stick to steel. Especially for the cost difference.
Still an option as well, specifically Metalcloak.

So is anyone running the Fusion 4x4 setup yet?

I had the Fusion 4x4 TR & DL . top quality. Hated the jam nuts that kept moving. Now I have the Synergy for keeps. Hardened chromoly steel 1/4 thick. Easy to adjust and stays that way. No big special wrenches needed and all Synergy parts use the same tools to adjust.

I stil have your Fusion TR and DL sitting in my man cave. Forgot how long I've had it for and still have not found time to install them. Everytime I get a weekend off, I'd rather be on the trail than under the truck.

Jam nuts kept moving? They don't require a small dab of Loctite? Or have anything besides it being a jam nut to hold it in place? Seems like there should be a big ass star washer to help hold it from moving.

id rank fusion just behind rockkrawler primarily because of joint design

ive never seen either get destroyed which I can not say about some of the other popular choices

With the Fusion you have to cut the rotor shield due to the size of the TRE. Using anti seize on the threads kills the lock tight. A better lock washer on the nuts for those that use them would be a good idea.

How about a second jam nut setup?

I am sure that some kind of locking washer setup can be devised. I have Synergy everything else so that's the way I went with no issues. Fusion is great and the customer service is also great.

Just got off the phone with Fusion 4x4. Said that jam nut issue backing off shouldn't be an issue. Anti-seize on the tie rod ends but not where the jam nut goes. Blue Loctite for the jam nut. Probably going with them. Unfortunately you have to cut the disk guard a bit. They also use a star washer to keep it attached and from not moving

Fusion is outstanding and only bested by rockkrawler

Here’s one of the other ones I was referring to

Ohh damn! Fusion also said they manufacture all their own parts. Or have someone do it to their specs.

I have the apex TR and DL with flip. If you want an expensive solid kit that looks like doo doo the first bit of moisture it sees - buy it. All the end bolts and nuts are rusted before it even got to alignment shop. The ends are showing rust too. Very disappointing
