So my question is this. I'm keeping my stock 17x7.5 wheels installed. I'm trying to get them to stick out beyond the fenders some to add a little more aggressive look. I ran 1.5" spacers on my JK but with the stock wheels looking back at the pictures it doesn't appear to stick out as much as when I had the 17x9 installed. Would I be better off going with a 1.75 or 2 inch spacer. Never ran a 2 inch spacer before either. Pros or cons

This is where I'm at running 315 70 17 BFG KO2 tires.

Personally, I don’t use, like, or trust wheel spacers... Just my personal opinion. You would be better off getting aftermarket 17x8 wheels with about a 4” to 4.5” backspacing, and -18 to -24 offset to get that look.

I don't not trust wheel spacers. I have ran them on 3 different Jeep's I have owned and never had a issue. I have only used hub centric ones though so no experience with any other type. Wheeled two of those Jeep's hard with no issues. As far as 17x8's go, I'd be all for that if I didn't like the look of the stock ones. I do respect your opinion on wheel spacers though, some like them some don't. I have never had a reason not to trust them.

If they made a 17x8 or 17x9 in a wheel like the stock black steelies then I'd be all over them. I just don't want to lose much more of the towing capacity and I know the wheel type can play a part. Plus I like the look of the truck with them on it. I'm probably going to get some 1.75" ones.

Looks good. I ran spacers on my JKU for over 100k miles. 35's on stuck Rubicon wheels. Never had an issue. But I did rotate my own tires and loosened and torqued the spacers every other time.

I also had the rugged ridge spacers. I like your wheels. Simple black. Looks right on the Jeep. I shy away from the blinged wheels. Rugged.
