Checking in to see if anyone in Texas has found a good dealer to work with that is offering what NC, IA and others are doing on the 7% off MSRP. I have a feeling I will be buying out of state in NC. I have asked the question to 4 different Dealerships already and I hear Crickets everytime. Of course car buying when your a female is never fun. I will have my Gladiator though and don't care if I go to NC. LOL

The best I have found is 1% below invoice + my military discount and I have called most everyone in Amarillo, DFW and Austin.

I checked 3 in Dallas, they all sucked. I called the one in Conway Arkansas from the JL page, I didn’t get a call back. I put money down with Travis from Tri City in Eden, NC. If someone gets a great deal in TX good for you. I was tired of the B.S. and went with the no haggle invoice -6 or 7 depending on if you take there financing. Now I’m looking forward to the drive home.

Thinking I'm going to do the same also. Did Travis happen to indicate when orders can go out for others that were not LE. Looks like sales tax over there compared to here will be a savings as well. :)

    Careful with the last part.
You pay tax in the state you title vehicle, not the state you purchase.
Each Dealer does it differently, They'll either charge you the Tax and send it to your states DMV, or when you get home you pay the tax and title.
When I bought my Colorado in Alabama, the dealer charged me 1%, When I got to Florida, They credited me the 1% and I paid the remainder.

Houston dealers now show 7 gladiators in transit on the Jeep website. Nice mix of overland and rubicon trims.

I just received a call from River Oaks Jeep in Houston. Orders are indeed open, and they are honoring the Tread Lightly Discount (1% below MSRP).

A few notes of interest when ordering: Only Silver, Black, Red, and White are available to order and for some reason only leather seats (no cloth, at least not on the rubicon model)

There seems to be a few glitches with it... Someone else reported to get a spray in bed liner you had to have the trail cam.... Its going to be funny when all the orders that were placed today were canceled because it was a glitch and not suppose to open!:LOL::LOL:

To your point, the salesman said that they received zero word from Jeep that orders would open today, and they were just rolling with it.

The Tread lightly discount should be 1% below invoice not MSRP.

Sorry, that's what I meant. A MSRP of 51,802 Gladiator came up to 48,700 with the discount.
