with the switchbacks there have to be some 23 pt turns.
or is it too long?

Coworker and I were just talking about Black Bear this morning. He has a JK. Said it was fun, and even in a JK there are 3 point turns. Apparently there are locals that will do it in full size trucks.

thx much. i knew JK's did it, just didnt know if, even with a 3 pt, or 5, or 13 pt turn if a longer vehicle could make it around a couple of the switchbacks.

i've never done BB, haven't done any off-road stuff in CO, ever. had jeeps since HS, offroaded in the midwest and TX. kid is off in college, thank goodness on a scholarship. i'm old enough now to buy and trick out one of my ideal vehicles. the JT fits about 80-90% of what i want to do, just didnt know if BB was in the doable part or not.

thx much

this summer i hope to make a couple of trips to colorado and really want to get black bear under my belt.

i've seen all kinds of SWB vehicles on the trail but didnt know if a longer WB vehicle could make some of the switchbacks.

thank you
cheers, j-
