Interesting post, no recall listed on the official Chrysler/Jeep recall page. It may just be a service notice.

Dealership said it will go public in 3rd quarter. Just figured this forum would be out ahead of it and I could do some preventative maintenance. Notice will come in the mail. Didn't mean to freak anyone out. FCA sure isn't worried about it

Soooooo, your dealer is pre-announcing a recall that FCA has not yet announced but will be announced in the 3rd quarter (which we are currently in)?

Call me skeptical.

ETA" and wtf is a "rear driveshaft monoblock"?

This will be Recall V95. Dealers are typically notified of upcoming recalls before the customer mailing begins, the notification was dated 8/30. It will probably be a certain production block affected as most likely the failures can be traced to a certain date range.

One of the very first things I commented on last year when they revealed the truck is that carrier bearing. Why the heck did they use that? There are full size trucks that don't even use those. An aftermarket one-piece driveshaft will be a great future upgrade.

Received a notice of recall through the app over the weekend for this. If affects vehicles manufactured between December 15, 2018 and June 25, 2019. All are to be inspected. If ungreased in production, they intend to replace the driveshaft. No repair parts are currently available according to the recall.
