I was hoping it was just from all the rain we have gotten and maybe it was having a hiccup. Today after driving an hour to work and coming out to go to my next stop I go to start my Jeep and the heat goes full blast, radio goes full loud. Radiator fans are blasting and the dash is lighting up like crazy. I turn it off and start it back up check engine light on. I scan it and there’s probably a code for everything on . Reset system runs fine for 5 hours. On my way home I stop at the gas satation come out get back in and a mile down road lights flashing and everything goes out. Power steering, transmission. Pull over and same thing codes for everything on. Here are a few screen shots. Does anyone know what’s going on? I’m almost afraid to drive now

Hopefully, it is just the ESS battery needing replaced.
Is there anyway to check it? I have an appt Wednesday hopefully dodge can fix it. It’s weird after I reset codes it works fine for awhile

Have the dealer test both batteries. You can isolate them for testing or charging by disconnecting the ESS negative cable from the main negative battery terminal. The computers are sensitive to voltage drop. If the ESS battery is failing, it will be a drain on the main battery, and can cause it to fail.

When checking battery voltage on dash should I be at over 14 v? I’m only seeing 13.7 on the dash

Dash reading, with the engine running, I get between 12.6 and 14.5 and have seen it go as low as 12.2 when ESS is active at a stop.

If I recall correctly from those with similar issues on the JL side a loose ground wire was some times the culprit.

I would more than bet, it's the ESS battery.

Super common problem it seems.

Make sure all your fuses are seated too. I've heard about loose fuses that can cause issues.
Over half of mine were not fully seated when I checked them.

I hope this is my issue. I have an appt tomorrow so hopefully that’s all it is. I hate having to go to the dealership

I would agree , probably ESS battery. I hate going to them too. I'm lucky I haven't had to go back to them yet.

I’m starting to think it might be my electric sway bar disconnect. In the video I posted that was that guys issue. I just went out and put my Jeep in 4wd and hit sway bar and it won’t disconnect, just keeps flashing sway bar.
