I really like the looks of this bar but I want to know how noisy it is driving down the road in the wind. My brother has a led bar on his JL and it whistles like crazy. I’d be willing to wreck his rig just to make the sound stop!! Thanks!!

I just had mine installed. I didn't go over 40 miles an hour the whole drive home, but I'll try and let you know next time I hit the highway.

One thing I can say is that their mounting kit isn't perfect. The welds on it are a little sloppy. And their solution for running the wire from the light bar down the side of the windshield involves visible zip ties... For the money I really expected more. Also, the mounting brackets that run up either side of the windshield can rattle and come into contact with the vehicle. I now have a new rattle when I go over bumps. I plan to purchase some foam rubber stripping to attach on the underside of the brackets to hopefully reinforce top most section of the windshield mounting bracket.

Good info! Yeah I’m surprised about the zip ties!

Have seen black foam sheets with peal and stick adhesive on one side. I bet that would help the rattle. Keep me posted please.
Thanks @blazenoz !!

So, wind noise...

Mind you I have the soft top...

It's not bad. You first hear it at 45-50, totally benign. But at 70, I noticed it much more. No whistle. But lots of turbulence.

Well that’s frustrating! @blazenoz I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully with the correct tweaks you will be happier with the finished product. Please let me know what you learn. I’d rather learn from your mistakes!!!

It's important to follow their instructions because the foam pads they provide with the kit have various levels of thicknesses. My installer did not install the thicker foam pads that go near the top of the windshield. They left it with the metal contacting my paint. So that's infuriating.

Some adhesive rubber molding strips worked wonders. Also putting more tension on the center support so it pushes the light bar away from the vehicle a little bit has made it very rigid now.

It sure is sturdy now.

Love that Sarge green! When I bought mine last year it wasn’t available so I chose black. ALMOST went ahead and just wrapped it w Sarge green! Lights look great!

@blazenoz From inside does it feel like the lightbar impedes on your view out the windshield or is it high enough to be out of the way?
