Did a quick search, didnt find much. These wheels aren't really reviewed anywhere either. Anyone here use them? Off road in them? Did the hold up?

I dont have experience with this brand or the like while offroad. Im looking for the cheapest wheel thatll take a 37x12.5 and these look it, cheap to replace, care free scratching, etc.

That's a six lug pattern and gladdy hubs are 5, but I imagine they have different versions.

Yeah the ones in my cart are 5x5 pattern. A set of 4 cost the same as one AVE dualsport lol.

I have the same manufacture, just different holes in the wheels on my TJ. They’ve been great, no issues.

Yes , I have had "okay" service with them , they aren't perfectly balanced straight. I even had one that was shipped to me slightly warped. They are economical and if your hubs and tierods are tught and ya dont mind extra wheel weights they are a quick fix.I am switching to aluminum this year . That resemble a steel rim. The Aluminum are either flow poured or CNC machined and end up with a truer product. THE STEELS when the dish is welded in the center of the rim the weld process pulls the metal etc.. (Old Tech) and unfortunately some of those cheaper rims are being made with old tech. The End.

Steelies are steelies. Probalby all coming out of a single factory in china. I have a steelie 17x9 for a spare and it's stamped made in china I got from a buddy with a L.R.D.G sticker to make it fancy.....

That all said, Allied wheel offers the same wheel and uses the same partial name "soft 8", so i would just shop for best price at this point, double check prices some may come with caps and some may not for the same price depending on vender.

I had unique "Series 297 Soft 8" steelie wheels on my XJ from Discount tire and they were fine.

I've also had trouble with steel wheels being out-of-round. I won't mess with them anymore.

Thanks everyone for the info! It sounds like if I get them for off roading ill be fine if even if they are a not perfect. I know now to inspect them good upon arrival. For the price its worth it, as long as this brand isnt made of some brittle steel thats going to bust on me in the wild lol, which I dont think they will. Ive always used steels on my cars for winter, so Ill give em a try. Maybe they will balance well, maybe they wont.

I’ve had vision wheels on my rig, two rigs ago. They were there when I bought it and when I sold it… never gave them any thought. I don’t think they’ll give you too hard of a time.

That is not a issue exclusive to Steel wheels, I've had more issues with aluminum wheel then I have had with steel wheels. Best thing about steelies is you bend a lip you can repair it easily. You can also weld rock rings or even bead looks to them
I have run soft 8's on my samurai turned buggy for years

It seems to me it's more common with steel wheels. But I'm just speculating.
