i've been running this fridge freezer for ten years now. Best money I ever spent for camping. 12vdc/110vac, low power consumption, well insulated, plenty of room for grub.
Decided the best spot was behind the driver. The various passenger seat positions really didn't give what I wanted. The seat had to go! Easy to do, 4 floor bolts, two 10mm bolts to the other seat and two torx screws for a plastic trim piece and out it comes.
At this point the floor and storage box provide a decent platform and a strap attached to two of the floor bracket bolts holds it in place.
This will be powered from one of the aux. switches. For now it runs from the 110ac outlet.

Well if you kept the seatbelt it could still double as a toddler booster seat lol

Heck, If needed just turn off the fridge open it up and shove the kid inside . . . somewhere in it there should be a "cold one" of something he could sippy-on ! ?

AND . . . just to give kudos to . . . myself . . . THIS is what I"ve been saying I would be doing, well minus the Kid idea ! In fact I'd be taking it a bit further and removing the entire back seat so that I could have a bought or fabricated lockable storage box too . Back of a truck ain't no place for a Fridge, even in this case, IF the JT were "tall enough" to put a lid on the Bed . Of course a CAP would solve that, but without AC - like in the CABIN - that Fridge Motor and electronic components gonna get Real Hot real Quick . . . not to mention the added Bouncing due to LOCATION ! Back seat is just about a perfect Location, nearly "Centered" between the wheels . . . relatively "quiet" their ! I might have to locate my fridge choice to the other side based on my driving position and the size of the SnoMaster I'd be getting !
GOOD JOB BOB . . . :like:

November 6th EDIT -- The optional or provided (based on model) lockable plastic under rear seat storage bin is ok, IF you need the rear seats . I'd be looking to do something with GREATER Volume )taller and deeper and stronger with a Flat top surface (pad-able for a possible furry pet!). Big enough toot block the rear door speakers and a few inches below the rear window sill (don't worry I won't be having a rear subwoofer). Of course all this is probably mute since I've pretty much decided on something other than a Gladiator (for now still?) . . . leaning in the JLU direction or RAM Quad w/Off Road Package . . . ? Then again I could also do this same idea with my WK2 -- removing the rear seat / Goose Gear style deck . . . you get the idea ! Also an Eibach Lift/Level Kit and a few other niceties ! beda beda beda . . . that's all folks . . .

@Rokon could you post a pic of the seat (mounting area) that you removed when you get a chance? Thx
I'm planning on removing the 60% side for a fridge, air comp, etc.
Your setup looks nice.

Thanks for moving this post. I thought I was posting in interior mods at the time and realized it was in general after hitting submit!

Here are some pics of the “blank slate” space after removal of the drivers side rear seat. The drivers seat is full to the rear. Also a shot of the 1/2” dense foam pads that the fridge sits on atop the storage box and hardware box.

Thank you for post the pics.
A lot simpler than what you have to do to a JKU.

I may fab up an aluminum base frame that bolts to the seat bracket holes with legs that sit on the floor mat. Then secure the fridge to that frame.
Currently the only drawback to this setup is it is hard to read the fridge readout as it is at the rear. Turning the fridge around, the lid hits the crossbar of the roll cage and doesn't open as far. That and the fridge's air vents aren't as clear.

15” wide x 20” tall x 26” long. These are max dimensions.
Thanks. My Yeti is 17.5" wide x 16" tall x 30.5" long. I think it will be too long to fit the way you have your fridge in. :(

It might still fit. Your fridge isn't as tall. If you fab a platform frame that brings the base even with the backseat storage compartment top edge you'll pick up almost 6” for length. If the drivers seat position isn't all the way back you can gain some more.
After taking a pic I see the seat back latch hoop eats room. Hopefully that can be unbolted but I don't know if that is the case.

Thanks for sharing the pics! You are actually giving me hope that I can fit my dog in the same space you put the fridge. I'm thinking I can make a custom flat floor and my 60lb lab just might be able to lie down!

I plan to keep my ARB fridge in the bed when we take it with us. Of course, I don't have my JT yet, but that's the plan for now. I don't have that cover for mine, was hoping it keeps the weather out of the compressor areas??
