AT&T Wifi Hot spot

So I thought this was going to be gimmicky but it's actually a pretty cool feature and a good price. After my free trial 1gb they were offering a prepaid monthly $20 for unlimited data. This is a great deal for me since I'm on Project Fi/Google and I pay per gb (I usually use 2gb of data a month which costs $20 on project Fi.) Most of my data is used in the vehicle while streaming music since at work and home I'm on wifi. This will also work out great for extended trips especially, for me, since AT&T has better coverage than Sprint or T-mobile on Fi. You can turn the wifi hotspot on and leave it on so it starts up with the vehicle and your phone will automatically connect.

So check out your AT&T account page to see if this promo is offered. It said it was expiring the end of August for me.

Hey thanks! I'm going to see if they have a way to activate and deactivate from month to month. i think i'd like to use it on trips and then stop when i'm not.
