I’m flying into Atlanta for a
wedding in two weeks and have rented a Wrangler. We’ll be staying north of town. Would appreciate trail recommendations that are moderate to easy within an hour or so drive. Thanks!

You might consider this off road mapping app: www.onxmaps.com/offroad/app
and .. check for Jeep accessory shops in ATL. They should be a good resource.

I have videos of trails in the N GA mountains on my youtube channel.

Of particular interest you might want to start with Grassy Gap, Old Bucktown Rd for rutted/rocky features. If you're looking for smoother roads for leaf watching, FSR-42, FS58, Appalachian Blue Ridge Rd and FS 338 which I just did a week ago.

Except for FS338, all were done in my wife's Stock sport w/ Rubi suspension. FS338 was in my Mojave.

Alltrails app is a good one too. There are plenty of trails mapped out on the app.
