I have an overland and today I went to put something under the back seat, now it won't lay back down. Has anyone else seen this issue or am I missing a release?

Overland owner here - sorry, but I have not had this issue. There is no release - it should simply fold back down. Is it only one side, I'm assuming?

Yes there is nothing that holds the seat up when you fold it up it should just flop right back down

I raised the other side and put it down and then went back and the other side went down like normal.

Mine has done that on a few occasions. I park on a slight incline at my house and attributed it to that as that's the only place I've had it happen. Could just be coincidence or maybe I've only really flipped the seat as it was parked there, I don't know.

Usually I just kind of push it towards the back a few times, a few tugs, and just when I say "alright asshole, one more try" it'll let me pull it down.
