Well, after buying my first ever Jeep only 5 weeks ago, my 21 Mojave backup camera has failed.
I have to call the dealership on Monday and see when they can fix it.
I hope this is not a trend. šŸ˜Ÿ

I have a 2021 Rubicon and it went black on Sunday too. I have read posts in other places that says theirs went out for a couple hours or maybe until the next day. I haven't been in the truck since Sunday so I don't know if it is back working or not but I will update this if it has.

Update: The next time I drove the Jeep is was back working again. Hasn't failed since but that was only a week ago. I will keep an eye on this and update if it happens again.

My neighbor works at the local Jeep dealer, he told me to start the Jeep and push in the tune and volume knobs for 20 seconds and it would reboot the system. This worked for me!

[update] I am at sea level, so that may be helping my fuel economy.

Mine has gone out 3x since I bought my Gladiator last year with varying lengths of time. I found if you disconnect negative battery terminal and let sit for 30 mins and restart itā€™ll reboot itself.

Now see, THIS is the type of info that should be included in an owners manual.....

Mine went black about 10 days ago. The next morning it worked fine. About 4 days ago, I got a notice of an update that was to address the backup camera (and other things). Hopefully that is the end of it.

Same for me. The camera wiring simply worked itself loose from opening and closing the tailgate. There is a panel on the inside of the tailgate to access the camera. Requires a T25 Torx bit to remove the screws. Easy peasy. The connection is not very secure. If it happens again I'll probably be securing it better with tape (or something).

Thanks for the tips. It's working again. I had the same problem on a Dodge Ram I had a few years back.
