Quick question, I’ve searched this forum and haven’t any luck with finding a resolution to my problem. I bought a used 20 gladiator sport with the upgraded 7 inch screen. With doing that I lost use of my backup camera, it’s just a blue screen. Has anyone else run across this?

did YOU upgrade to the 7in screen? or did you buy the JT with the screen and now are having the issue?

Either way its worth it to have the dealer take a look and see if there is an issue. It may be as simple as a loose wiring behind the screen

The original owner did the upgrade, I just bought it a few weeks ago it has 6400 miles

May be a few things; may be they did not hook up the av correctly (not sure on the 7") and or the truck needs to be flashed to know there is one and to look.

If your handy you can probably pull the unit and check your self.

If I remember correctly there is a HD video converter box of some sort behind the rear seats. You may check back there for loose connections also.

Blue screens typically mean no video signal. Maybe the cable is unplugged from the back of the head unit or like the previous post stated, something is loose elsewhere. Start with the easiest and work your way up.

I think this is only the case if you have the front trail camera.
