Just got back from weekend of camping at Salt Springs Rec Area on the edge of Ocala National Forest. Both wife and I had out Jeeps there to earn their first badges. Did a great job of bringing part of the Forest back! 6 yo loved the splashing through the puddles. Admittedly, the TJ was more fun being it was naked, but was great wheeling in the luxury.

Rocket Builder,
Is that the badged trail? Heard the trail was tight and offered a lot of paint scratching, was interested in making a trip up, but don't want to cut and buff the paint when I get home,

There were a few tight spots, but no pinstriping. We had the Wrangler ahead of the truck to act as a gauge.

the best unexpected event, was having the trucks nav take us to Silver Springs, and it navigated us through the forest service roads.

Rocket Builder,
Pinstripes, couldn't think of that when I was typing, very cool though and the nav took you through the forest, may have to make a run up there, maybe when the rain stops and it cools down a little, oh yea this is Florida,

Rocket Builder,
How do you certify or report that you completed that trail? and be able to receive the badge, thanks

You need the app on your phone, and register, then you just need to check in when you are there... it looks for coordinates to verify location.

We did that trail a little bit ago as well. I question if we had the same gpx points though. Pinstriping was crazy bad for us. I didn't mind since it was my 2015 JKU which has been beat up a bit already. Wouldn't want to do it in my new Gladiator that arrives next week.

Here is a short vid that shows the scraping we got.

Oh hell no! I agree, if I had an older Jeep that has already seen some “action”, no problem... but my new Gladdy will not be taking any Ocala trips anytime soon (and I’m just an hour away).
