Interesting. My kit totally deleted the red reflectors. I too connected then to a switch.

Does anyone know why BD says this is for only early JTs? What changed?

Been eyeing this. Probably going for the GK knuckle mounts up from first.

You might want to call them. I found an inaccurate year listing before.

Bumper May have changed on the ‘24, not sure tho. I had these on my ‘22 before swapping bumper. They really help with being able to see while reversing. I had mine on switch 4 as well.

Has anyone dabbled into wiring these up to the reverse light circuit so they come on automatically?

I know other companies sell tapping harnesses that tap into the taillights reverse circuit, but would like to look for a way to not alter OEM wiring or change/overload those circuits by wiring it on its own circuit, but switch on/off with the reverse signal.

I haven't but they are pretty bright to be used like that automatically. I'm sure there would be situations when you wouldn't want them to come on like that

best way to do that would be to use the hot reverse light wire to engage a relay so power comes directly from a power source (battery) thru a fuse. No overloaded circuit that way.
