Hello! We were mentioned in this thread. We have had customers that have installed the MOPAR Hard Cover with our product but they lost the ability to open and close the cover. They did not mind but it is something to consider. Attached are some pictures of what they look like inside and outside!
Does that rack sit above your roof?With the folding tonneau covers it is hard to put a rack on that maintains function. If you were willing to switch to a hard rolling cover, that would give you more options. I use an Xtrusion-Overland rack with a BAK Revolver X4s tonneau.
I really like the look of this combo. Do you get wind noise from this design rack? I have experience with square or rectangular vs. oval bars on a roof rack but since this seems to tuck in behind the cab I am curious if that mitigates the effect of the wind on the rectangular tubing with all those channels in it.X2 on Extrusion overland rack here. Different configurations avail. As said works perfect with the BAK 4S tonneau and this is the reason I went with Extrusion. Extremely strong rack.
I have not heard any wind noise from this rack at all. The top is about 3-4inches below the roof line, so the air flow should be passing by easily. You can order whatever height you want, I chose 17” on this one. Very happy thus far.
Even with my rack being level with the soft top I never heard any wind noise. The nice thing about these racks are they are totally customizable. I have put on hinged panels to allow access to the sides of the bed.
