I scratched my hard top on my garage, soi figured I'd give "fixing" it a go. I like it.

This is rattle can bedliner (Rust-Oleum Pro Grade), so getting an even coat was a challenge. I might do another coat in a week or so

I'd say for as long as you'll own it at least if you used a quality bedliner. Touch ups will be a super easy now too.

Well it was expensive so I dont know if that correlates with quality haha. It took about 7 cans at $13 per can. A can doesn't go far at all. If it doesn't hold up, I'll do it again with POR-15 roll on. I used that on the floor of my old bug, and it's still holding strong about 5 years later, and I expect it to keep going.

Looks good.
I've been thinking about doing someting like this to my fenders. As long as you adequately prepped it, i.e. light sanding, it should hold for quite a long time.

Prep work is the key. If you sanded it good so the Bed liner will have a good bond then you will have no issues. I've seen some look like crap after just a few months because of poor prep work and it's not as easy as you think to fix it or touch it up unless it's the really texture type. The smoother Bedliner is a pain to get even when you touch it up.

Yours looks good for now from what I see from the pics

I lightly sanded the whole thing before starting. Time will tell if it holds up. I sure hope so. As sanding cured bedliner is not the easiest thing in the world.

Nice job. That looks great!
Thanks. It's been 2 and a half years, and It's still holding up surprisingly well, through. Rain, snow, hail, car washes, and tree branches.
