Can't make up my mind... Which ones do you all think is better? Any pros vs. cons on either? They both seems to equally protect and perform - with the only difference being one is fuzzy and the other one is smooth.

I've had the Bedrug for 6 months, I've liked it. I think it helps with road noise. If you are going to haul dirt/gravel it might not be the best choice.

Just like Billkowski said, it will all depend on your intended use. But I'd say go for the rug if you can. It would get absolutely destroyed in the bed of mine tho, I went line-X.

I don't like the idea of a lay in like bedtred, reminds me of the old hard plastic bed shell in my old dodge ram. it wiggled around, got dirt/debris/ moisture in there and mutilated the bed finish.

Mine has the factory spray that I don't really like. I added the bed rug and like it. I have a bed rug in the back of my Ram that is 10 years old and doing great.

I like my factory spray in but I use it as a truck. I think in FL with the summer monsoon's a rug would rot pretty fast. Definitely a personal choice.

Thanks, guys. I had my bed Platinum Line-X'ed when I got my truck, so its protected. I don't really haul too much stuff - occasional furniture, boxes, bicycles, etc. Pretty light duty.
I was considering the Bedrug/Bedtred mainly for the purposes of saving my knees when kneeling in the bed, and also when lying down on it when we go camping/tailgating...
(Wifey doesn't like sleeping on the ground, so I set up a tent in the Gladiator bed, while my two boys sleep in a traditional tent (admittedly, I sneak down there too and join them to pacify the 12-year old in me, :))).
Based on your feedback and also my needs, I think I'll stick with the 'traditional' fuzzy bedrug. Thanks again, guys! Appreciate the input, as usual.

Bedrug all the way! I tried everything else and bedrug is best. You can haul gravel and dirt on it too. It washes out with no problem. Soft on the knees if you get in the bed and keeps things from sliding around.

Bedrug. I've had mine for 2+ years and love it!

I have the factory sprayed liner, ARE cap, molle panels, and installed the Bedrug. Went with just the one piece bottom with tailgate. Could ask for a better fit or product. Easy to pull out for cleaning or if hauling any real nasty stuff!
