I think this is the one you were referring to:
https://www.quadratec.com/p/mountain-off-road/driver-side-dead-pedal-jeep-wrangler-jl

Reviews say its very hard to install...but it seems like once it is installed it works great

Got that left leg fatigue now so I'm on the hunt for one of these

I got this one, on Amazon. It's absolutely perfect for me. Plenty of adjustment for taller/shorter people

I like that one, any flexing/bending of the pedal itself?

I can flex it if I stand on it, but it doesn't flex under normal conditions at all. (And I'm heavy)

Took about 5 min to install also
like the sound of that install time, not to mention a 1/3 of the cost of the Mountain Off-road pedal

just installed the Hooke Road pedal, taking it for a test drive and we'll see if we need any adjustments

What about taking out mats and such - I have the factory "slush mats" - for cleaning, washing the truck, vacuuming and such? Want to be able to pull mats out at car wash, or vacuum out at home and not spend 5 minutes getting things apart.

Like the idea of a 5 minute install!

Installed same one in the JL - worked great. I have the M.O.R.E version in my JT - I like it based on i can have foot on or under it.

I have the M.O.R.E. and agree with this statement. sometimes I adjust and put my foot under it. it was without a doubt a little tough to install and I dropped one of the nuts into a black hole but it is still very sturdy.

Going with the M.O.R.E dead pedal - ran out of daylight so this will be my next install. Any tips I should know about? Seems it might be a PIA to install....

First make sure you have a couple cold beers because you will want them by the time you finish. Then sit in the jeep and get someone to mark on the kick panel about where you want the dead petal to be located. You probably don't want to do mount this twice. The only other tip I have is: I used a large sponge like for washing a car to hold the mounting bracket in place while I got the nuts started. What I am calling the mounting bracket is the little piece of flat bar with two threaded studs. I folded the sponge over and wedged it between the inside of the quarter panel and bracket holding it pretty tight. That allows you the twist and turn your body holding the other parts and start the nuts with two hands. GOOD LUCK! :whew:
