Yesterday I removed my doors and drove for the first time...FREEDOM!! So now that I’ve had a chance to drive without doors (and side mirrors) I’m looking for some advice on good mirrors that won’t vibrate too bad or fold in after 40 mph like many of the reviews currently show on Quadratec. Any suggestions?

Saw this today. Could get the Mopar A-pillar mounts and attach it to the sides and never take them off...

Thinking about the kikbax. Are they worth the price gap?

I was looking at the outlaw sidewinders. But I'm not sure we have the same mounting capabilities on the window frame. So i continue to look.

I also ordered from Carolina Metal Masters. I had the Rugged Ridge pillar mounted mirrors on my last JKU. They got so bad you had to crank them down with a set of pliers, and still they would fold in going more than 35 MPH. The ones form Carolina Metal Masters are pricey, but hands down the most stable and coolest mirrors on the market. Took less than five minutes to install them initially and then seconds to put them on and off. Keep in mind you can also mount a Go Pro to the outside mirror arms plus the ability to mount phones or GPS inside the Jeep. I ordered a lot of parts during my two month waiting period and hands down the mirrors from CMM were my favorite purchase.
