The manual wasn’t very clear on this part. Do you all have the little part here tucked under the rail or like mine. I tried tucked under but rain hit me this AM in cab. With it like this my door squeezes it and especially on drivers side it bends it and I feel it won’t last long the tab in this under rail position.

any of you question this part? Thanks in advance.

@Bestop Yeah but that is only if I close the door in the most gentle way, otherwise it folds the back part of that extra piece badly . My current thoughts are that Jeep added the piece to help with water dripping in cab. I feel like cutting the back half of that piece is my best bet to maintaining the intended water dispersion but not wreck the seal over time as it gets squeezed by the door

@Bestop i tried , sawyer over there agreed with my solution. Problem solved for now, the tab is no longer getting squeezed by the door and shoved back, and it probably somewhat retains what Jeep intended which is controlling the water dripping in the Jeep door well.

Yes, MY 2022 JEEP added a piece to the front door seals. Supposedly to stop the air drafts coming through the doors.

Thanks for confirming, I trimmed it and it’s fine.
