Can you run the Sunrider with the rear half of the hardtop off? If so, do you have pics?

The way the Sunrider mounts it is basically clamping on the rear hard top panel. I haven't tried it, but I don't think it would be a good idea to drive without that clamp connected.

Thanks for that info. I don't have one yet so I was wondering if it could be used as a sun shade for the front with the rear off. Sounds like that isn't an option. Appreciate the response.

Yeah, when I installed my Sunrider it was pretty obvious that it would be bad idea to use it without the rear hardtop section.

You can definitely install a sunshade under the sunrider though, as long as it is designed for just the front. Then to go full topless, you just need to take the back off, and the 4 sunrider bolts that secure it to the jeep.

Yep, I have a SpiderwebShade under mine....but have yet to actually take hard top and sunrider off. I really do not have setup at home to easily remove hardtop.

So wait, you optioned the hardtop then added the sunrider AND THEN added a shade under the sunrider?

And before everyone dog piles, I've always been hard top or no top until a wife and kids convinced me into a bikini for shade.

I'm mostly just trying to reconcile is the goal to have a micromesh bikini under the sunride so you can have the air but not the glare? And I'm wrapping it all in a big teasing burrito skin for effect.
