Man I feel for you all cause its only getting worse. Now that those idiots are slapping $100 a day penalty on containers past 9 days in West Coast things are going to get even more expensive. That is if customers or suppliers don't just outright abandon cargo at the port. That penalty increases every day. Day 1 x $100, Day 2 x $200, Day 3 x $300, etc, etc for each container left past 9 days.
Just a thought to think on your winch sizing, 12k vs 10k 2000 lbs difference in between isn't that much considering that is the rating on bottom wrap of the line plus reduced amp draw load having a 12k. Not much difference in weight if using synthetic line. Now if you was looking at the 8k to 9.5 k winch there is a 15-25 lbs difference vs 10k.
Well I think there is about a 20lb difference in the Smittybuilt 10K and the Apex 12K but I know Smittybuilt will not get down to the Apex Cost range.
